Free On Board — The Only Way Filify Trades

Filify executes every agricultural trade under strict Free On Board (FOB) terms. The exporter's responsibility ends when the goods are loaded or delivered to the shipping line at the origin port and the Bill of Lading is secured. No CIF. No hidden freight obligations. Just clear, enforceable FOB execution.

Filify does not support CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) transactions. All trades are FOB only.

What FOB means on Filify

Under Free On Board, the exporter fulfills their delivery obligation once the goods are handed to the shipping line at the named port of origin. From that point, the buyer assumes the cost and risk of ocean freight, insurance, and unloading.

  • Exporter clears export customs and delivers cargo to the origin port.
  • Exporter obtains the original Bill of Lading from the carrier.
  • Exporter uploads the B/L to Filify to prove FOB fulfillment.
  • Buyer arranges and pays for freight and marine insurance from origin onward.

When is the trade considered complete?

On Filify, FOB delivery is deemed fulfilled when the exporter has delivered the goods to the shipping line at the port of origin, collected the original Bill of Lading, and uploaded it to the platform. At that point:

Exporter obligation ends

Risk and cost transfer to the buyer once the B/L is issued.

Escrow becomes eligible for release

After delivery confirmation and the dispute window, Tazapay releases the payout automatically.

Buyer protection built in

FOB does not mean "buyer beware." Filify layers independent verification and real-time visibility on top of every shipment.

Independent SGS Inspection

Independent SGS Inspection

The importer nominates and pays their own SGS inspector. The inspector verifies quality, quantity, packaging, and compliance before the cargo is sealed for shipment.

Live Video Bagging

Live Video Bagging

The exporter conducts a real-time WebRTC-streamed packaging session. The buyer watches container loading, seal application, and bagging integrity from anywhere in the world.

Escrow-Gated Release

Escrow-Gated Release

No funds move until verified delivery documentation is on file and the dispute window has passed. Filify never holds or touches client funds.
